transitive verb

1. to dream (también figurative)

soñé que podía volar -> I dreamed (that) I could fly

¡ni soñarlo!, ¡ni lo sueñes! (informal) -> not on your life!

intransitive verb

2. to dream (con of o about)

anoche soñé con ella -> I dreamed about her last night

sueña con que le ofrezcan el puesto -> she dreams of being offered the job

soñar con los angelitos -> to have sweet dreams

soñar despierto -> to daydream
