IMITACIÓN

 

Una ola insondable de invencible orgullo,

un misterio y un sueño, tal debió parecer mi

primera edad. Yo añado que ese sueño estaba

atravesado por un pensamiento huraño, siempre

despierto, de seres que han existido, y que mi

espíritu no hubiera apercibido jamás si los

hubiera dejado pasar cerca de mi, bajo mi ensoñadora

pupila. Que ningún otro, acá abajo,

herede esta visión de mi espíritu, de esos pensamientos

que a cada instante quisiera dominar

y que se extienden como un hechizo sobre mi

alma. Porque, al fin, esa brillante esperanza

y ese tiempo liviano se han ido, y mi reposo

terrestre, me ha dejado, él también, con un

suspiro, al pasar. Entre tanto, no me preocupo

de que él perezca con un pensamiento que

entonces amaba....!

一股深不可测的潮流，

 

一股无限自豪的潮流——

 

一个梦再加一种神秘，

 

似乎就是我童年的日子；

 

我是说我童年那个梦想

 

充满一种关于生命的思想，

 

它疯狂而清醒地一再闪现，

 

可我的心灵却视而不见；

 

唯愿我不曾让它们消失，

 

从我昏花迷蒙的眼里！

 

那我将绝不会让世人

 

享有我心灵的幻影；

Of interminable pride—
