¿Qué me importa si mi suerte terrestre no

encierra en mí mismo más que una pequeña

cosa de esta tierra? ¿qué me importa si años

de amor son olvidados en un momento de odio?

 

No lloro en forma alguna porque los desolados

sean más dichosos que yo, pequeña, sino

porque veo que os afligís por el destino de éste
